CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 29, 2013, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the first pilot free trade zone in China, was unveiled and put into operation. In the past ten years, this "experimental field" of the pilot free trade zone has thrived in intensive cultivation.

The China Pavilion of the 6th China International Import Expo specially set up the "Achievement Exhibition of the Tenth Anniversary of the Construction of Pilot Free Trade Zone", which fully demonstrated the exploration, practice and construction achievements of the Pilot Free Trade Zone in promoting reform and opening up in the new era.

"This year marks the sixth anniversary of the establishment of Chongqing Pilot Free Trade Zone. We show Chongqing's achievements in building land trade rules, creating a first-class business environment and building characteristic industrial clusters through visual forms such as demonstration models, objects and pictures," said Wang Xin, Director of the Institutional Innovation Division of the Pilot Free Trade Zone of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce.

For example, a group of "International Letters of Credit for Railway Bills of Lading" displayed on the spot witnessed Chongqing Pilot Free Trade Zone taking the lead in exploring and constructing international trade rules on land in China. The exploration of the real right of railway waybills and three standards such as the specification for international freight forwarding railway transport operation of Chongqing Pilot Free Trade Zone have become national standards.

On the other side, the model of China's first international trade channel extending outward from the west is displayed, showing the whole process of CHINA RAILWAY Express (Yuxinou) starting from Tuanjie Village, Shapingba District and finally arriving in Duisburg, Germany.

The "Guanyin KEY Card" electronic port card in the showcase shows the pioneering work of Sichuan and Chongqing to jointly build a pioneering zone for collaborative reform in the Pilot Free Trade Zone. Chongqing Pilot Free Trade Zone, together with Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone, helped to build the "Electronic Port Card" across customs areas for the first time in China, and was included in the "Top 100 Projects" of the National Customs for Doing Practical Things for the Masses by the General Administration of Customs, which was replicated and promoted throughout the country.
