CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The first Square Dance Show for 2023 in Chongqing, hosted by China Broadnet 5G with the theme of “Dancing happily in Mountain City all year round”, was held in Shizishan Sports Park in Jiangbei District.

On the day of the show, 480 square dance lovers in 20 square-dance teams from 11 districts, such as Yuzhong, Yubei, Shapingba, Dadukou and Banan danced happily along with the designated cheerful song Joy of Earth.

Daomadan and Tiaoshanzhai, combining tradition and modernity, made the audiences feel passion and joy. The choreography for songs Heading to Happiness, Auspiciousness, and Sweetness of a Happy Life presented the charm of the new era. Hello Chongqing and Pear Fragrance in Yubei conveyed the strengths of joy and happiness to the audiences. The event offered a great variety of performances to delight the audience.

Finally, the Beibei Culture Museum Square Dance Team, the Jiangbei Culture Museum Yewu Youth Dance Team, the Yuzhong Peninsula Youth Art Group, Daudkou Yuejin Village Yidu Art Group, Jiulongpo Culture Museum Art Group, and Banan Huaxi Sub-district Dance Team stood out, and they will participate in the final competition.
