CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Here’s the good news for Chongqing’s boxing fans! The WBO/WBC Professional Championship Contest, which had been suspended for three years, finally returned. The press conference on the 2023 China Chongqing WBO/WBC Professional Championship Contest was held in the Chongqing International Boxing Tournament Center (in Yubei, Chongqing), and the contest will kick off on November 25 at the gymnasium in Yubei, Chongqing. It will be the third international boxing event held by the Chongqing International Boxing Tournament Center following the 2018 and 2019 tournaments.

Certified by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and World Boxing Council (WBC), the event has attracted professional boxers from China, New Zealand, and the Philippines, who will compete for the WBO Eastern Light-heavy Weight Championship Gold Belt and the WBC Intercontinental Super-feather Weight Championship Gold Belt.
