CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2023 China Industrial Transfer & Development Matchmaking Activities (Chongqing) started in Chongqing on November 20. The Intelligent Connected and New-energy Vehicle Matchmaking Activity, as part of the event, was hosted in the afternoon of the same day, in which vehicle enterprises like Changan Auto, SERES, Great Wall Motors, and Qingling Motors, and more than 210 guests from more than 150 famous auto parts enterprises from home and abroad introduced the industrial development and advantages and talk about future.

The intelligent connected and new-energy vehicle industry is one of the three leading industrial clusters in the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system being built by Chongqing.

Tu Xingyong, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Economic Information Commission, said in his introduction of Chongqing's intelligent connected and new-energy vehicle industry that in recent years, Chongqing has made rapid progress in the development scale of the intelligent connected and new-energy vehicle industry. From 2018 to 2022, the output of new-energy vehicles grew by 98% annually, 57 percentage points higher than the national average. It is expected that the output of new-energy vehicles in Chongqing will reach 500,000 this year, up 37% year-on-year; by 2025, the output will exceed 1.5 million, accounting for more than 10% of the national total; and by 2027, the production will reach two million vehicles, and the industry scale will reach trillion levels.

Due to the rapid development of the intelligent connected and new-energy vehicle industry in Chongqing and the good reputation of Chongqing, the Intelligent Connected and New Energy Vehicle Matchmaking Activity has attracted many leading enterprises from home and abroad, which include ten top 100 global auto components enterprises and 17 top 100 national auto components enterprises.

"Chongqing boasts a relatively complete automotive industry chain and an attractive business environment to me,” said Gong Hainan, Administrative Director of Xinzhi Group. Chongqing has organized coordination meetings to help enterprises overcome difficulties all the time, which made Gong Hainan moved.
