CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the main structure of Lujiao North Station of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 24 Phase I Project was successfully capped, which is also the third capped station in the whole line, marking the staged victory of the project.

According to Guo Junyong, the commander of the General Contracting Department of CRCC Chongqing Rail Transit Line 24, Lujiao North Station is an open-cut island station with two underground floors and two columns (three local underground floors). Since its construction, the station has overcome many unfavorable factors, such as traffic diversion measures in the early stage, difficulty in pipeline relocation, high safety risk, limited topography of the construction site, many surrounding buildings, etc., successively completed 625 retaining piles, and started to the main structure construction in last September.

In the process of construction, the project management personnel intensify technical research, continuously optimize the construction scheme, ensure the close connection of each process on the construction site, and fully guarantee the project construction progress.

According to CRCC Chongqing Investment Group, Chongqing Rail Transit Line 24 Phase I Project starts from Banan District and ends at Guangyangwan Station in Nan'an District, with a total length of 18.9 km, which forms a transfer station with the east extension of Line 6, Line 8 and Line 27 respectively. This line is one of the backbone lines in Chongqing rail transit construction network, and it is also the first fully automatic driving rail transit line in Chongqing, which adopts the cloud-based Internet of Things integration platform. After completion, it can effectively improve the north-south transportation capacity of rail transit, enhance the radiation range of Chongqing East Railway Station, and provide convenience for citizens to travel.
