CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, 2023 Chongqing International Travel Agent Conference was opened in Chongqing. At the opening ceremony, Jeong Gang Hoan, the President of the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) Asian Branch, presented Chongqing with the Award for "2023 Asia-Pacific Three Tourism Festival Cities". It is said that International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), founded in 1956, is the most influential festival (event) industry organization in the world. The Award for "Asia-Pacific Tourism Festival Cities" has attracted much attention. 32 candidate cities from 8 countries have been attracted to compete this year, with wide coverage, difficult selection, high gold content in the industry and strong international influence.

After the early multi-dimensional evaluation, field investigation and authoritative deliberation of festival experts at home and abroad by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) Asian Branch, Chongqing was selected as one of the "2023 Asia-Pacific Three Tourism Festival Cities" together with Sydney, Australia and Tongyeong, South Korea.

The selection of "2023 Asia-Pacific Three Tourism Festival Cities" fully shows that Chongqing's cultural tourism development, especially the development of night tourism economy, has been widely concerned and highly recognized internationally. Next, Chongqing will continue to focus on building a city that never sleeps with "Chongqing flavor and international standard", and continuously improve Chongqing's foreign exchange activity, city brand awareness and urban economic extroversion.
