Direct flights from Chongqing to Paris and Sydney to be opened soon

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Hainan Airlines will open direct Chongqing-Paris flight routes on November 28, according to the conference on Chongqing-Paris international routes held by Hainan Airlines in Yuzhou State Guest Hotel. The opening ceremony for the Chongqing Branch of Hainan Airlines was also held at the conference.

Direct flights from Chongqing to Paris and Sydney to be opened soon

Hainan Airlines will open direct flights from Chongqing to Paris on November 28. The Chongqing-Paris route will offer one round trip every Tuesday. The departure flight will take off at 2:30 Beijing time at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and arrive in Paris at 07:20 local time; the return flight will depart Paris at 11:30 local time and arrive at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 05:00 Beijing time the next day.

The Chongqing-Sydney route will have two round-trip flights operated by Tianjin Airlines every week, on Mondays and Fridays. Served by A330 aircraft, the outbound flight will depart Chongqing at 01:10 Beijing time and arrive in Sydney at 14:50 local time; the return flight will leave Sydney at 16:50 local time and arrive in Chongqing at 01:00 Beijing time the next day.

Hainan Airlines will launch limited special discounts on the first flight between Chongqing and Paris: saving at least CNY1000 (excluding tax) on group travel and CNY2050 (excluding tax) on individual travel.

This year, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has resumed international (regional) passenger routes to eight destinations including London, Moscow, Doha, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Nha Trang, and Chinese Taipei. The Airport is operating 17 international (regional) passenger routes, with 86 flights per week. It is expected that by the end of this year, the airport will operate 20 international (regional) passenger routes and offer 90 flights per week.

Hainan Airlines sets up a branch in Chongqing branch to help build Chongqing as an international aviation hub

The opening ceremony for the Chongqing Branch of Hainan Airlines was held at the conference. As the first branch of Hainan Airlines in southwest China, the company is committed to building itself into the main aviation base for Chongqing international flights and further developing the air route network of Chongqing.

It’s learned that Hainan Airlines has an extensive domestic route network in Chongqing, including Chongqing-Beijing, Chongqing-Haikou, Chongqing-Sanya, Chongqing-Guangzhou and Chongqing-Shenzhen, a total of 16 routes with nearly 28 flights. Qianjiang-Beijing, Qianjiang-Guangzhou, Qianjiang-Xi'an, and Qianjiang-Haikou routes are the exclusive routes operated by Hainan Airlines. The diverse domestic routes are convenient for passengers from all over the country to transfer to international routes via Chongqing.

Taking the opening ceremony as an opportunity, Hainan Airlines will integrate into the new development pattern and strive to build itself as the main aviation base for the Chongqing international flights. To be specific, the company will invest more in transport capacity and manpower, enhance the safety of the operating capacity, make full use of the geographical advantages of Chongqing to lay the international flight network, strengthen the domestic trunk routes, build up Chongqing-Haikou and other premium express routes, increase the destinations of international connecting flights and build the international plus domestic two-way efficient transit flights.
