CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Photo taken on November 27 shows that workers were busy with the renovation of old residential areas in Wenxingwan, Beibei District.

Renovation of old residential areas is one of the important means for the Beibei government to improve people’s livelihood. Currently, the renovation and upgrading of the residential areas in Tianshengqiao Area, Quanwaiyuan Area, Wenxingcun Phase IV, and Liaoyuan Area are being implemented. These projects will benefit 6099 households in 20 communities.

In recent years, Beibei District has invested 500 million yuan in completing 12 renovation projects of old residential areas, which cover a floor area of about 1.1 million square meters.
