CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2024 Chongqing Marathon will kick off at 7:30 on the morning of March 24, 2024, in Haitang Yanyu Park, Nanbin Road, Chongqing, and registration for the event started at 10:30 a.m. on December 5, according to the press conference on the 2024 Changan Auto Chongqing Marathon on December 5.

The event will include a full marathon and a mini-marathon, each with a race entrant of 15,000 participants. The athletic track for the full marathon starts and ends in Haitang Yanyu Park, covering a length of 42.195 kilometers; the whole journey of the mini marathon covers five kilometers, starting from Haitang Yanyu Park, and ending under the Chaotianmen Bridge.

The full marathon will rank awards and record-breaking awards. In addition to the annual ranking awards and special awards for Chongqing residents, special awards for Chinese athletes will be offered by the 2024 Chongqing Marathon. The ranking awards will be given to the top eight male and female athletes in terms of their gunshot achievements; special awards for Chongqing residents will be given to the top 12 male and female Chongqing athletes in terms of their chip time; special awards for Chinese athletes will be given to the top eight male and female athletes in terms of their chip time; record-breaking awards include ordinary record-breaking awards and special record-breaking awards for Chinese athletes.
