CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- To develop new products for Chongqing's urban tourism, create new travel routes, and further boost cultural tourism consumption in Chongqing, the "Citywalk in Chongqing" themed activity organized by the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission will start on 6 December, introducing the “Citywalk” travel mode which is popular among tourists.

Citywalk, which means “strolling around a city”, refers to a way of traveling to witness the history, culture, and natural beauty of a city.

The "Citywalk in Chongqing" themed activity aims to offer an in-depth experience of Chongqing for both local and non-local tourists.

The activity features high–quality tourist spots incorporating catering, accommodation, tourism, shopping, and entertainment in downtown Chongqing. Ten must-visit tourist attractions, ten cultural and tourism shopping scenes, and ten Citywalk routes will be launched for you to experience the charm of Chongqing as a City of Mountains and Rivers, a Sleepless City, as well as a Multi-level Magical City.

Mountain City Trails, Maanshan Area of Chongqing People's Auditorium, Three Gorges Museum, Opening Port Heritage Park, Longmenhao Ancient Street, Jiangbeizui (Grand Theatre, Jiangtan Park), Democracy Village, Chongqing Zoo (Panda House), Ciqikou Ancient Town (New Lane, Buildings in 1949), Sunac Yule Town.
