CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Rail Transit Line 18, invested in and operated by China Railway Construction Corporation, Chongqing, was open to traffic at 2:00 p.m. on December 28, said the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Development Commission.

During the initial operation of CRT Line 18, the first train of the day departs at 6:30, and the last train departs at 23:00, with a minimum departure interval of 7 minutes.

With a total length of 29km, CRT Line 18 starts from Fuhualu Station in Yuzhong District and ends at Tiaodengnan Station in Dadukou District, connecting Yuzhong District, Jiulongpo District, Banan District, and Dadukou District, and allowing passengers to reach the urban area from the middle trough valley and the southern area in 40 minutes.

Passengers can transfer from Line 18 to Line 1, Line 2, Line 5, Jiangtiao Line, Line 9, and Loop Line at the rail transit stations. The access to Chongqing rail transit has been effectively increased in the middle trough valley and the southern area.
