CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The first direct freight train of the new western land-sea corridor, loaded with bonded grain, arrived at Xintiangang Station in China’s Chongqing on January 4 from Laos’s Muong Sai. The direct train, loaded with about 1,000 tons of grain in 40 containers, was organized and shipped by Yuxinou Company, a subsidiary of Chongqing Transportation. It was loaded and shipped from Muong Sai Station in Laos on December 23, 2023, and entered China from Mohan Port in Yunnan Province through the integrated customs declaration mode before arriving at Xintiangang Station in Wanzhou.
