From January 5, passengers can pay for the rail transit fare by scanning a QR code with the app “Yu Chang Xing” or “Zhengzhou Metro Shangyixing” on their phones in both Chongqing and Zhengzhou.

The QR code payment systems for rail transit in common use in both Chongqing and Zhengzhou cover all lines and stations operated by the two cities. Following the principle of fare discount localization, passengers will not enjoy special discounts if they use “Yu Chang Xing” in Zhengzhou or use “Yu Chang Xing” in Chongqing.

When using the app “Yu Chang Xing” to take the subway, you need to get the latest version of the app, click "Chongqing Rail Transit Bus Code" in the upper left corner of the bus code interface, select Zhengzhou Metro, and then turn on QR code payment service.
