CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A new high-speed train operation diagram will be implemented from January 10, with the number of regular passenger trains operated by China Railway Chengdu Group growing to 1727, an increase of 35 over the number of current operating trains, and high-speed trains to be launched between Chongqing and Tianfu Airport and between Chongqing and Beijing, said the Railway department on January 8.

To create more convenient, efficient, and comfortable “South Sichuan Loop Line” high-speed train products, China Railway Chengdu Group has introduced one pair of trains for both the “Chengdudong – Zigong – Yibin – Leshan – Chengdudong” route and “Chengdudong – Neijiangbei – Zigong – Leshan – Chengdudong” route. These trains will connect seven cities, such as Chengdu, Ziyang, Neijiang, Zigong, Yibin, Leshan and Meishan, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.

Train G8755, running from Chengdudong to Chengdudong and to be operated from January 10, will depart Chengdudong Station, pass through Tianfu Airport, Zigong, Yibin, Bijie, Guiyangbei, Zunyi, Loushanguannan, Tongzidong, Chongqingxi, Longchangbei, Zizhongbei, and finally arrive at Chengdudong Station. The train offers a more convenient travel experience for passengers traveling between Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guiyang, and facilitates the travel of Chongqing’s and Yibin’s passengers to and from Tianfu Airport.

Taking the launch of the Jinan–Zhengzhou High-speed Railway, China Railway Chengdu Group will launch the direct trains from Chengdudong to Rongcheng, from Chongqingbei to Jinandong, and from Guiyangbei to Yantai, enhance the quality of the non-stop high-speed trains to Jiaozhou Peninsula, increase the number of trains to popular destinations, and add one pair of Chengdudong-Guangzhounan high-speed trains, one pair of Liupanshui-Guangzhounan trains, and one pair of Guiyang-Nanningdong trains to further strengthen exchanges between southwest and south China. Additionally, the route for Emeishan-Shapingba high-speed trains will be expanded to cover Yinhua, and the train trips from Jiangbei Airport will be increased.
