CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- SHINERAY Group donated more than 20 items that the SHINERAY International Cross-country Team has used to participate in international races and Wenchuan, Yushu earthquake relief in the Chongqing Sports Museum Cultural Relics Exhibits Collection: Special Donation of SHINERAY Group held on January 10.

The donation ceremony, SHINERAY donated the competition clothes and boots of the SHINERAY International Cross-country Team, the trophies and medals won in the China Huanta Rally, the Lake Aiding Cup, and the trophies and medals for the Chinese Football Association Super League. Behind these honors, there are many stories of selfless dedication and teamwork.

A black jacket for cycling is particularly eye-catching at the donation activity. The front, neckline, and cuffs of the cloth are covered with white and grey sweat stains. The responsible person concerned said, “This is the jacket of the team member of the SHINERAY International Cross-country Team. During the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the team sent 12 off-road vehicles and 42 riders to the disaster-stricken area. They rescued more than 1,000 wounded in eight days and nights on the front lines of disaster-stricken areas that cannot be reached by car or regular motorcycle.

One of the donated items is the best style award medal of the 2008 China Huanta Rally & China Auto Cross-country Race (Xinjiang). In 2008, a team member of the SHINERAY International Cross-country Team encountered a driver who fell unconscious when during the race. He immediately stopped to carry out rescue and call for medical support. Although this decision led to his failure to achieve satisfactory results in the race, he did not regret it at all.

SHINERAY International Cross-country Team was established in March 2004 in Belgium, the kingdom of cross-country motorcycle sports. Approved by the China Motorcycle Association in June 2004, the team began to compete in the World Motocross Championship, Belgium Championship, and International Motocross Championship, achieving many satisfactory results in Belgium, Britain, France, Japan, South Africa, Sweden, Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal.
