City’s Study, jointly built by Chongqing Library and Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, is an innovative reading space featuring the unique city landscape and culture of Chongqing. Located in the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, the study offers a magnificent view of the Yuzhong Peninsula.

The study offers 2500 high-quality books available for free on the bookshelves, which cover literature, history, travel, geography, and other categories, including classics, best-selling books, popular science books, and books for children. At the same time, the study provides a large amount of reading resources for free online, such as e-books, audiobooks, and videos, to meet the diversified needs of readers.

The combination of rich reading materials of Chongqing Library, various exhibitions in the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, and the fine view of unique city landscapes, expands the service scope of public libraries, showcases the image and development achievements of Chongqing, and offers better cultural and tourism experiences for visitors.

On the opening day of the City’s Study, Chongqing Library launched a series of cultural tourism activities themed Read Chongqing. “Read Chongqing” Book Exhibition, one of the activities, exhibits 26 paper books related to the cultural tourism of Chongqing. A series of books with the characteristics of Chongqing, such as Chongqing Picture Book, About Chongqing, Old Folk Custom of Chongqing, and Food of Chongqing, presents a colorful view of Chongqing. The book exhibition will last for one month.
