CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will start operating direct flights between Chongqing and Milan on March 19, 2024. It is the second regular international passenger flight launched by the airport in 2024.

Operated by the Airlines Boeing 787 of Hainan Airlines, the direct flights between Chongqing and Milan are scheduled for twice a week.

The departure flight will leave Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 2:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays, and arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport at 6:45; the return flight will depart Milan at 11:15 and arrive in Chongqing at 5:00 the next day (The above times are all local times). The flight duration will be 11 hours 45 minutes and 10 hours 45 minutes respectively.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport operates 21 international (regional) passenger flight routes and offers 110 flights per week to destinations including London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Budapest, Sydney, Doha, Dubai, Singapore, Seoul, and Osaka, basically developing an international air route network covering Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and other regions.
