CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On February 5, SERES super factory was completed and put into operation in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Municipality. On the same day, the first batch of AITO M9 were delivered to owners, and the scene was spectacular with thousands of new cars ready to be shipped.

SERES super factory is built according to the international leading standards and requirements of Industrial Internet, with four features such as high efficiency, intelligence, sophistication and green. The first impression of the factory is “big”. The reporter saw that the construction space of each workshop of the factory is huge, and far more than the general new energy automobile factory. It is understood that the factory covers an area of more than 2,700 mu, which is equivalent to more than 200 soccer fields. Its die-casting, welding and riveting workshops and assembly workshop are so big that feel like they never end.

Another impression of the factory is “advanced”. Hundreds of robotic arms are constantly working in the workshop, quickly and precisely executing all kinds of complex production instructions, and logistics robots are flexibly shuttling along the production line, and there are hardly any workers in the workshop.

“Our production line’s unmanned level is globally leading.” Said a relevant person of SERES. For example, the general assembly is usually the most manually involved link, with an industry automation rate less than 30%, while SERES super factory realizes the automation of the battery pack, suspension, instrument panel and other key links, with an overall automation rate more than 50%.

At present, the factory has more than 1,000 intelligent equipment and more than 3,000 robots for intelligent collaboration, realizing 100% automation of key processes, using the industry’s first quality automation test technology to realize 100% quality monitoring and tracing, and realizing the highest integration in integrated die-casting components through the world’s leading 9,000T die-casting machine.

As a high-end model jointly created by SERES and Huawei, AITO M9 has been on the market since December 2023, and the amount of its cumulative large orders has exceeded 40,000. The factory where this model is manufactured is the brand-new SERES super factory.
