CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the Chinese New Year’s Eve is approaching, Train 5630 from Zunyi to Chongqing was lively, because travelers could “go shopping”, taste Guizhou Tongzi “New Year’s Eve Dinner”, enjoy the intangible cultural heritage performances; and the people along the railway could sell their own agricultural products, procure the New Year’s goods, and feel the strong atmosphere of the Chinese New Year in the train.

On the morning of February 5, at the platform of Zunyi Railway Station, passengers took out their cell phone to take photo for the Year of the Dragon. At 10:53, with a whistle, a train carrying New Year’s goods and agricultural products slowly departed from the platform to Chongqingxi Railway Station. The carriage was decorated with colored lights and hangings including the Spring Festival couplets, Chinese knots and the Year of the Dragon themed hangings. There were variety of New Year’s goods and agricultural products, and a long banquet table full of Tongzi “Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner”.

It is reported that the train will pass through 21 stations along the railway such as Songba, Loushanguan and Tongzi. Since this year’s Spring Festival travel rush, for the convenience of the people along the railway to buy New Year’s goods, China Railway Chengdu Railway Bureau, Chongqing Public Security Bureau, Guizhou Tongzi Culture Tourism Bureau and Tongzi Transportation Tourism Group jointly set up a “New Year’s Bazaar”, and a long banquet table full of Tongzi characteristics in the train. As a result, travelers can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the train window while tasting the authentic Tongzi food, and feeling the strong features.
