CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the morning of February 7, Hainan Airlines and Chongqing Airport Group held a launch ceremony of Chongqing - Milan International Route at Novotel Chongqing Airport. The reporter was informed that Hainan Airlines is about to open the direct flight route from Chongqing to Milan on March 19, which is the first direct flight route from China’s western region to Milan, Italy.

It is introduced that the first flight is scheduled to take off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 02:00 Beijing time on March 19, and arrive at Milan Malpensa International Airport at 06:45 local time on March 19. This is the fourth direct flight route from Chongqing to Europe opened by Hainan Airlines, following the direct flight routes to Rome, Madrid and Paris.

There are two round-trip direct flights per week on Tuesdays and Fridays from Chongqing to Milan. Passengers can purchase tickets through Hainan Airlines’ official website APP, WeChat Official Account and mini program, service hotline 95339, all directly-affiliated ticket offices and authorized agencies. In addition, Hainan Airlines also provides passengers with a wide range of product choices, such as premium seat selection, prepaid baggage, upgrading class service, and business packages, to meet different travel needs of passengers.

In addition to the direct flights from Chongqing to Rome, Madrid and Paris, and the upcoming direct flight route from Chongqing to Milan, Hainan Airlines will build an international route network from Chongqing to many European countries.
