CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the spring approaches, Jugatsu-sakura (Cerasus subhirtella) and M. halliana flowers have been in blossom. The workers of Tengchun Vegetable Professional Cooperative based in Tieqiao Village, Daguan Town, Nanchuan District, were busy turning soil and building greenhouses in the base to prepare for a new round of vegetable planting on February 25.

Covering an area of 140 mu, the base of Tengchun Vegetable is a demonstration project of water and fertilizer integration in Nanchuan. 116 steel-framed greenhouses will be built in the base this spring. Upon completion, the greenhouses will be planted with loofahs, tomatoes, and aubergines, providing employment opportunities for more than 150 local villagers.
