CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Supported by innovation in technology and business models, cross-border e-commerce has become an important way for Chongqing’s enterprises to participate in international trading. According to Mexin Group, its cross-border e-commerce sales are expected to rise 15% this year; it will stabilize its markets in Europe, America, the Middle East, and Africa while opening up new markets in Southeast Asia and South America.

Since the end of the 2024 spring festival holiday, Mexin has exported thousands of steel doors to Bolivia, Georgia, Panama, and other countries.

We achieved most of the above export business through cross-border e-commerce, said the relevant person in charge of the export business of Mexin Group. As the global influence of China's cross-border e-commerce platform increases, the consumption habits of many overseas consumers have gradually been influenced by the Chinese consumer market.

For example, last year, a non-profit industry organization based in New York purchased more than 3.5 million door products from Mexin through cross-border e-commerce platforms for projects such as setting up new schools. It’s estimated that its procurement volume will continue to grow this year.

Cross-border e-commerce platforms enable us to sell products all over the world, build our brand, and bring us more profits and business opportunities, said Mexin Group. In addition to Alibaba, Canton Fair Online Platform, and other existing cross-border e-commerce platforms, Mexin Group will open online stores on Amazon and establish overseas independent stations. At the same time, the enterprise will make use of short videos, live broadcasts, and other ways to improve its visibility and stimulate consumption. Besides, foreign network celebrities and industry experts will be invited to promote Mexin’s products on social media platforms and further increase the global visibility of Chongqing-made door products.
