CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As spring awakens in February, 7000 mu of Jugatsu-sakura (Cerasus subhirtella) has bloomed in Cat Hill Cherry Blossom Park in Caijia Town, Jiangjin District, offering a delightful visual feast in the hills in early spring. The cherry blossom park attracts nearly 10,000 visitors a day, giving a boost to the local tourism industry.

Located in the south of Jiangjin, bordering Qijiang and Xishui, Guizhou Province, Caijia Town is known as the ‘land of idyllic beauty hidden deep in hills’. With an area of more than 7,000 mu, Cat Hill Cherry Blossom Park is planted with 1700 cherry trees including Mudan cherry, Yangguang cherry, Guangzhou cherry, and Zhongguohong, and 3000 red-leaf Japanese maple trees. Whenever the cherry trees put forth their blossoms, Cat Hill Cherry Blossom Park becomes a magnet for visitors.

Mountains in Cat Hill Cherry Blossom Park, ridge upon ridge, are covered with red and pink cherry trees. The delicate petals of the cherry blossom dance gracefully in the breeze, filling the air with a sweet and refreshing fragrance. The beautiful sea of flowers blends well with the lush green tea forest, presenting an inviting rural scenery in spring and attracting numerous tourists.

What’s more, Jincai Village Tour and Caijia Town recommend a traveling route for tourists to better enjoy the tourist attractions in Caijia Town: Cat Hill Cherry Blossom Park→Qingxihu Huaguoshan Peony Garden → Qingxigou Mupicao Ecological Countryside → Zhongzui Mama Fish Food Street. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery, you can also experience Caijia's specialties, such as selenium-rich green tea, lean fish, Tofu pudding, ginger duck, herba houttuyniae, wild onion, and Chinese toon...
