CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The first Orchid Art Exhibition of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle will start from February 29 to March 10 at Chongqing Garden Expo Park, exhibiting nearly 2,000 pots of orchids from Sichuan and Chongqing, including Cymbidium goeringii (Rchb. f.) and Cymbidium ensifolium (L.) Sw., said the Chongqing Urban Administration Bureau. It is a must-visit. It’s a must-visit for those orchid lovers.

The Orchid Art Exhibition includes the fine orchid exhibition and evaluation area, the orchid display area, and the orchid sales exhibition area. Locate on the first floor of Chongqing Garden Expo Park, the fine orchid exhibition and evaluation area will display 500 pots of orchids for evaluation; the orchid display area held in the main square of Chongqing Garden Expo Park will exhibit 1,200 pots of orchids; and the orchid sales exhibition area will also be hosted in the main square, covering a floor area of 3,000 square meters.

What’s more, new species of orchids, and selected books, paintings, and ornamental stones will be shown at the exhibition to enrich visitors’ viewing experiences.

In the future, Chongqing will continue to host orchid art exhibitions at Chongqing Garden Expo Park annually, making it a well-known floral art exhibition, improving the reputation and popularity of Chongqing orchids, and making city parks a beautiful and vibrant place for leisure and recreation.
