CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Liangjiang Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition City Terminal (Yuelai City Terminal), the first city terminal in southwest China to serve the exhibition industry, will be officially put into operation in May this year, said Liangjiang New Area. Yuelai City Terminal is not only a powerful supporting project to improve Yuelai's function as an exhibition city but also a significant functional platform to promote the gathering of exhibition resources and link various transportation hubs. With Chongqing characteristics, the terminal showcases the exhibition business environment of Chongqing and enriches the experience of exhibition tourism.

Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group, Chongqing Airport Group, and Chongqing Public Transport Group jointly build the Yuelai City Terminal, with a view to providing high-quality and convenient transport service for the business and traveling guests participating in the exhibition in Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition City, as well as for the residents living in Yuelai Area, Central Park, Xiantao International Big Data Valley, and Lijia Area. The preliminary design scheme for the Yuelai City Terminal has been completed and the terminal is now under construction; it is expected that the terminal will be finished at the end of April and start operation in May this year, said Song Xueli, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group.

The Yuelai City Terminal is located in the northern part of the 26-degree Block on Yuelai Binjiang Road, close to Chongqing International Expo Center and Wyndham Chongqing Yuelai, with a total area of 807 square meters. Upon completion, it will provide more convenient and efficient business travel services for business travelers and the residents living nearby, including the sales of air tickets, boarding pass printing, baggage check-in, flight inquiries, exclusive lounges, free beverages, and airport shuttle lines.

Travelers can complete the boarding procedures other than security check and boarding in the Yuelai City Terminal. After checking the luggage in the terminal, they can take the shuttle bus from the Yuelai City Terminal to the airport for security check and boarding.

To enhance the experience of travelers, Chongqing Public Transport Group will launch shuttle buses running between the Yuelai City Terminal and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Chongqingbei Station, and Chongqingxi Station, and urban tour buses running through Huguang Guild Hall, Hongyadong, Liziba (Instagrammable tourist attraction), Ciqikou, and Lieshimu (including Zhazi Cave and Bai Residence).

Yuelai City Terminal will connect Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition City in Liangjiang New Area with Chongqing's transportation hubs and popular tourist attractions, building an integrated traffic system with high efficiency. In the future, it will also serve as the ‘Exhibition Hall’ and ‘Service Outpost’ of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, and play an important role in tourism service and displaying the charm of Chongqing as a modern tourist city.
