CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On March 11, the second day of the second month of the Chinese calendar, the ‘‘Laowai@Chongqing Perception of Yubei for International Youth' loong-head-raising activity, co-organized by the Yubei Publicity Department, Chongqing Luhai International Communication Foundation, and Western International Communication Center, started in Longxing Ancient Town, attracting international youths from 13 countries including France, Brazil, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia to experience the excellent traditional Chinese culture, intangible cultural heritage, as well as the auspicious meaning of ‘loong head raising’.

During the event, the international participants watched the loong dancing performance and got a chance to experience the dance. After the experiencing activity, they started to search for traces of loong in the ancient town. Longxing Town was filled with the elements of loong, such as streets named after loong and stone sculptures in the shape of a loong.
