CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On March 15, at the construction site of the section from T3 Terminal Station to Longjun Avenue Station of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 Phase I Project, many elevators, tower cranes and other equipment were operating in an orderly manner.

Rail Transit Line 15 is the first urban rail line in the central city of Chongqing. Phase I Project starts from Jiuquhedong Station and ends at Liangjiang Yingshicheng Station, with a length of about 39km and 14 stations; Phase II Project starts from Zengjia Station in the west and reaches Jiuquhedong Station in the east (exclusive), with a length of about 28km and 11 stations. After the whole line is opened to traffic, important functional areas such as University Town, Jingkou Industrial Park, Lijia Smart Town and Happy Valley and major hubs such as Science City High-speed Railway Station, Jiangbei Airport and Fusheng High-speed Railway Station can be connected in series to facilitate citizens’ travel.
