CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At 2:00 a.m. on March 19, Chongqing officially launched an international passenger route directly to Milan, Italy, which is the first intercontinental regular scheduled passenger route launched in Chongqing this year, and also the first direct route to Milan launched in the western region of China.

The direct flights from Chongqing to Milan is operated by Hainan Airlines, once every Tuesday and Friday.

Departure flight: departing from Jiangbei International Airport at 2:00 a.m. and arriving in Milan at 6:45 local time, the flight lasting 11 hours and 45 minutes.

Return flight: departing from Milan at 11:15 local time, arriving in Chongqing at 5:00 a.m. the next day, the flight lasting 10 hours and 45 minutes.

After the launching of the direct flights between Chongqing and Milan, it takes less than 12 hours to reach the international fashion capital Milan, saving more than 8 hours than before by transferring.

It is understood that the regular scheduled passenger route connecting Chongqing with Moscow will also be resumed on May 14 this year.

The direct route from Chongqing to Moscow will be operated by Tianjin Airlines, once every Tuesday and Friday.

Departure flight: scheduled to depart from Chongqing at 6:30 and arrive in Moscow at 10:20 local time, the flight lasting approximately 8 hours and 50 minutes.

Return flight: scheduled to depart from Moscow at 12:20 local time and arrive in Chongqing at 1:20 the next day, the flight lasting approximately 8 hours.

Since the beginning of this year, Jiangbei International Airport has resumed the international passenger route to Phnom Penh, and added more routes to Singapore and Seoul, with a total of 22 international (regional) routes launched currently, and over 110 flights operated per week.
