CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The construction of the Belt and Road International Technology Exchange Center is in full swing in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Municipality, and the main structure of the project is expected to be topped at the end of May, said China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau.

The Belt and Road International Technology Exchange Center, built by China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau, covers a construction area of 87,800 square meters and offers conference and exhibition venues and offices. Upon completion, the technology exchange center will gather innovation resources in western China, display the technological achievements of Chongqing, and help Liangjiang New Area accelerate the construction of core scientific and technological innovation centers with national influence.

It’s learned that up to now, the steel structure of the first above-ground floor has been all installed, which lays a solid foundation for the roof-topping work. It’s expected that the main structure of the project will be topped and exterior construction work will be started at the end of May this year.
