"I heard that eating Qingtuan for the first time in spring is called ‘tasting spring', bringing peace and joy as expected." Hu Kaidie, a student from the College of International Studies, Southwest University, excitedly shared. Making Qingtuan is a traditional Chinese culinary experience, she added. Qingtuan, also known as Qingtuanzi, is a special delicacy enjoyed during the Tomb-Sweeping Day, symbolizing the onset of spring and honoring ancestors. During the event, international students eagerly participated in making Qingtuan. With guidance from teachers, they kneaded glutinous rice flour and green vegetable juice into dough, filled it with red bean paste or other fillings, and rolled, pressed, kneaded, and shaped it together, resulting in Qingtuan's beautiful emerald color, delightful sweetness, and soft, glutinous texture. Through this process, the students not only immersed themselves in the intricacies of Chinese culinary culture but also gained insight into the cultural significance of festival delicacies.

With expert guidance, international students dressed themselves in these elegant garments, transporting themselves back to ancient China. "Hanfu is incredibly intricate. I feel truly delighted to fly kites while wearing it!" exclaimed Nana, one of the international students, expressing her joy to reporters. This was her first participation in such activities, offering not just a firsthand encounter with Hanfu, but also an immersive exploration of Chinese traditional culture.
