CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 15th Golden Buddha Mountain Azalea Festival & the first Nanchuan B&B Festival kicked off on April 13, offering various exciting activities such as travel route recommendations, B&B promotion, song and dance performances, and flower gift exchanges.

Three travel routes for flower appreciation were launched in the Golden Buddha Mountain Azalea Festival: a hiking route that weaves its way through gorgeous flowers and dramatic views of mountains; a self-driving trip along Golden Buddha Mountain Loop Line 178 starting from the south gate, which offers a beautiful view of blooming azaleas; and a cableway route where tourists can overlook the mountain filled with azaleas.

The world natural heritage site, Golden Buddha Mountain, with a wealth of tourism resources, is the core of the Loop Line 178 self-driving tour in Nanchuan Golden Buddha Mountain. This year marks the tenth anniversary of Golden Buddha Mountain included in the world heritage list. The scenic area took the opening ceremony of the Golden Buddha Mountain Azalea Festival as an opportunity to start the ‘Young Fun’ mountaineering activity, which attracted more than one hundred college students and mountaineering enthusiasts in Bitan Yougu.

Golden Buddha Mountain hiking trail is known as the most beautiful hiking trail in Chongqing for its gorgeous scenery and rustic charm. This year, the trail has become increasingly popular among mountaineering enthusiasts and is called ‘the extremely challenging trail’. “All climbers are welcome to experience the karst scenery and the beautiful hiking trail in Golden Buddha Mountain.”
