CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The construction of the Ma’anshi double-track bridge of the Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway was carried forward in an orderly manner on April 15.

The Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway Extension and Reconstruction Project spans across Liangjiang New Area and Beibei District, starting from Jinkai Avenue in the south to the Xiema-Longxing Express Road. The Ma’anshi double-track bridge is a large bridge crossing the Jialing River. Currently, nearly 50% of the overall project has been completed, and the bridge is expected to complete its closure in June 2025.

Upon completion, the project will effectively relieve the traffic pressure of the Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway and facilitate the coordinated development of areas in Lijia, Caijia, and Beibei in Liangjiang New Area. (Photographed by Li Yuheng / Visual Chongqing)
