CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At about 04:00 on April 17, Flight HU428 from Milan, Italy to Chongqing landed at Jiangbei International Airport, and the police officers of Chongqing Immigration Inspection quickly completed the procedures of person-to-certificate verification, data entry and other procedures, and rapidly completed the entry formalities for 133 passengers. According to the statistics of Chongqing Immigration Inspection, in the first quarter, Chongqing Immigration Inspection performed 384,000 person-times of entry-exit inspections for more than 3,200 flights in total, realizing a year-on-year growth rate of 287% and 158% respectively.

As China unilaterally implemented visa-free agreement to France, Germany, Switzerland and other countries, and the “mutual visa-free era” with Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Georgia and other countries, more and more foreigners came to Chongqing without visa. In the first quarter of this year, nearly 30,000   foreigners entered China through Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, which is six times more than that of the same period last year. Meanwhile, other countries have granted Chinese citizens visa-free access, visa-on-arrival and other policies, which has also promoted Chinese citizens to leave the country.
