CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On May 5, in the streets of Chongqing, a public bus decorated with symbols of celebration for a newlywed couple both on its front and inside caught the attention of many passersby.

On that morning, surrounded by the company and blessings of friends and family, the groom, Wu Yong, and the bride embarked happily in this unique wedding car. The abundance of wedding decorations inside the carriage heightened the ceremonial atmosphere of the procession.

Why choose a bus as a wedding car? Wu Yong explained that he works as a driver for Route 372 at the Huilongwan Branch of the Southern Bus Company under Chongqing City Transportation Development and Investment Group. He wanted to welcome his bride with the vehicle he drives regularly.

Supported by the bride, Wu Yong's idea led them to charter a bus for their wedding. Being "post-90s", they believed that using a bus as their wedding car was not only unique but also environmentally friendly. Having relatives and friends all together in one vehicle made the atmosphere even more lively.

To infuse the wedding bus with more ceremonial flair, Wu Yong and his wife collaborated on designing stickers, acquiring decorations, and arranging the interior of the carriage. The driver of the wedding bus was Wu Yong's colleague, and they chose a route for the wedding procession that included part of Route 372.
