CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- China Express will resume the Chongqing-Vientiane flight service on May 29, which will be operated three times a week. The Chongqing-Vientiane air route is the third international air route resumed in Chongqing this month.

The Chongqing-Vientiane flight service will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays utilizing an Airbus A320 aircraft. The Chongqing-Vientiane flight G52805 will depart Chongqing at 8:05 and arrive in Vientiane at 9:35; the Vientiane-Chongqing flight G52806 will depart Vientiane at 10:35 and arrive in Chongqing at 14:10 (all of the above are local times).

Vientiane, the capital of Laos, is located in the middle reaches of the Mekong River. With a long history and unique culture, it is the political, economic, and cultural center and the largest city in Vientiane. The resumption of the Chongqing-Vientiane flight service will further improve the Chongqing-Southeast Asia air route network and promote economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges between Chongqing and ASEAN countries.

Chongqing resumed three international air routes in May this year. On May 16, Hainan Airlines resumed the Chongqing-Seattle direct flight service and West Air resumed the air route from Chongqing to Hanoi. On May 29, Huaxia Airlines reopened the air route from Chongqing to Vientiane. To date, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has launched 24 international (regional) passenger air routes to Madrid, Sydney, Doha, and Osaka and offers nearly 130 flights every week.
