CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the afternoon of May 22, the Chinese and foreign guests participating in the International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference 2024 planted 48 osmanthus trees as a symbol of friendship at the Friendship Garden for Chongqing International Friendship Cities in Guangyang Island.

On the morning of the same day, Chongqing signed International Friendship City Agreements with Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and Seville in Spain, and Letters of Intent to Develop Friendship and Partnership with Bharatpur in Nepal and North Dhaka in Bangladesh. So far, the total number of Chongqing's international friendship cities and friendly exchange cities reached 56 and 129 respectively.
