CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 20th Blooming June Art Tour of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SCFAI) - Graduation Works Exhibition 2024 started at the Art Museum in the Daxuecheng campus of SCFAI.

2024 marks the 20th year of the Blooming June Art Tour of SCFAI Art since it started in 2005. Today, we will brief you on the main content and features of the exhibition 2024 as well as the exhibition guide.

‘The Museum of Wondrous Night’ light show will last three days and the aesthetic education activities will be available until June.

The Blooming June Art Tour 2024 focuses more on offering a delightful and inspiring viewing experience. During the event, SCFAI will stage a host of activities such as the Night at the Art Museum and special theme day activities.

The Night at the Art Museum, a much-anticipated annual activity starting from May 27 to May 29 this year, will be opened to the public free of charge and extend its running time at night.

In addition to the graduation works on display in the exhibition hall, the audience can enjoy a wide range of theme day activities held by the nine colleges of SCFAI in rotation between May 27 and June 10. To promote the close integration of universities, students, and society, the theme day activities are characterized by the features of the colleges, including art exhibitions, public education activities, and academic exchanges and promotion meetings for graduates.

More than 10,000 pieces of works present a feast of art in three major exhibition areas.

The Blooming June Art Tour 2024 features three sub-exhibitions, where are respectively taking place at the Art Museum of SCFAI, the Huxi Commune in the Daxuecheng Campus of SCFAI, and the Chongqing Contemporary Art Museum in the Huangjueping Campus.

The works created by postgraduates are displayed at the Huxi Commune in the Daxuecheng Campus of SCFAI.

The exhibition includes the works of more than 400 postgraduates, covering four first-level disciplines and two professional degree programs.

The exhibition of postgraduate works consists of two phases: From May 21 to May 31, the exhibition displays the graduation creations of 208 postgraduate students majoring in Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal carving, sculpture, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor painting, experimental art, animation art, film and television production, etc.

Between June 6 and June 16, the exhibition will include the graduation creations of 202 postgraduate students in the fields of handicraft practice, product design, information and interaction design, cultural and creative design, fashion design, art and technology, environmental art design, landscape architecture, etc.

The works of undergraduates, all of which involve the national-level or Chongqing first-class undergraduate majors, will be exhibited from May 27 to June 10 at the Art Museum of SCFAI and the Chongqing Contemporary Art Museum in the Huangjueping Campus.

As the first graduation exhibition of art colleges and universities open to the public in China, the Blooming June Art Tour of SCFAI has been successfully held for 20 years. During the event in 2024, the Blooming June 20th Anniversary Retrospective Exhibition will be held at the Chongqing Contemporary Art Museum in the Huangjueping Campus to showcase the 20-year development of the event and the works of graduates over the years.
