Seoul, the political and economic center of South Korea, has always been one of the popular overseas destinations for Chinese tourists. As the only municipality directly under the Central Government in the central and western regions of China as well as one of the Chinese central cities, Chongqing has also been favored by more and more Korean businessmen and visitors. The increase in Chongqing-Seoul direct flights will provide travelers with more mobility options and further promote economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchange between the two places.
