CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Middle East is becoming one of the main export destinations of Chongqing doors and windows. In recent years, the export orders of Mexin Group in the Middle East have been growing at a rate of more than 7% annually, with a large number of ‘Chongqing-made’ doors, windows, and other home products gaining popularity in the local market, said the company.

More than 1,600 sets of fire-proof doors exported by Mexin Group to Egypt for the local construction of a new administrative capital have arrived in Cairo recently, said Tang Jie, the export business manager of Mexin Group.

The new administrative capital construction project covers 1.1 million dwellings, 2,000 schools, 600 health facilities, an international airport, a central business district, a theme park, solar farms, etc. “Mexin will take this opportunity to increase its exports to Egypt and the Middle East," added Tang Jie.

Just a few days ago, Mexin Group developed a partnership with a real estate company in the United Arab Emirates, and it will export the first 1,500 sets of wooden doors to the country.

Why do Chongqing-made doors and windows continue to sell well in the Middle East? The reasons behind this lie in Mexin’s continuous efforts to go global and enhance its market popularity, said Yi Wen, the vice president of Mexin Group. In 2022, the participation in constructing Stadium 974 and the Al Wakrah fan village for the 2022 Qatar World Cup gained Mexin Group recognition from the local market and thus led to more cooperation, contributing to the continuous increase in the company’s export orders.

The top quality of Chongqing-made doors and windows is another reason, said Yi Wen, adding that the digitalization and intelligentization of R&D and manufacturing have helped them reduce production costs and improve product quality. (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
