CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Fan Zhendong and Sun Yingsha respectively emerged victorious in the men’s and the women’s singles at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Championships Chongqing ending on the evening of June 3.

Sun Yingsha and Fan Zhendong, the two champions at the WTT Championships Chongqing, visited Xiliutuo Ancient Town in Banan District, Chongqing, to take publicity photos with their trophies after the games.

Xiliutuo Ancient Town, a national 4A-level tourist attraction next to Lijiatuo Tea Flower Square on Babin Road in Banan, Chongqing, features high and low Bayu traditional houses and intersecting streets and lanes. It boasts Nantang Market, Beautiful Fair, Baoen Tower, Wishing Well, Ancient Theater, and other characterful spots.

Four athletes, including Chinese table tennis team members Xiang Peng and He Zhuojia and German table tennis team member Nina Mitram, explored the natural beauties of Xiliutuo Ancient Town during the WTT Championships Chongqing. They also watched Sichuan opera face and Suona performances and learned how to play the Suona, a wind instrument in China.
