CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing-Xinjiang New Western Land-sea Intermodal Train, a symbol of the joint efforts of Chongqing and Xinjiang to develop the New Western Land-sea Corridor, set off from the China-Europe freight train center of the International Land Port of Urumqi on the morning of June 4, making its way to Chongqing before leaving for Southeast Asia.

Compared with traditional transport mode, the intermodal train showed a 50% increase in the overall operation efficiency.
