CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Blue photovoltaic panels sparkled in the sun at the construction site of the Photovoltaic Project Phase II in Sanxi Honghua Village, Wushan County on June 1. The project, covering more than ten villages with a total installed system capacity of 382,000 kilowatts, is China’s largest intensive PV project in mountainous areas. To date, Wushan County has completed six clean energy projects with a total installed system capacity of 518,100 kilowatts, accounting for about 20% of the total grid-connected power capacity in Chongqing and producing roughly 600 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
