CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- How will you feel if your graduation project is invested with millions of yuan? On June 13, the graduation ceremony and graduation project exhibition for the 2024 undergraduates of the National Excellent Engineers College of Chongqing University took place at the Liangjiang Campus, and two graduation projects of the first Mingyue Science and Technology Innovation Experimental Class respectively received an investment of three million yuan.

The 2024 graduates of the National Excellent Engineers College of Chongqing University include 28 students from the first Minyue Science and Technology Innovation Experimental Class and 124 students from the Excellent Engineers Class.

Since the opening of the Minyue Class in September 2020, the five teams of the class have received an introduction stage investment of 500,000 yuan, with the Braille Reader developed by the Wuxianqihang team and the intelligent ice maker developed by the Qiyuanweilai team respectively receiving an angel investment of three million yuan.

The Braille Reader developed by the Wuxianqihang team is committed to integrating scientific and technological advancements with humanism to provide intelligent living solutions for the blind. “It’s my graduation project,” said Li Zheng. After learning about the difficulties faced by the blind in reading by chance, Li Cheng formed a team to invent Braille e-books. His technology company has signed a ￥500,000 angel investment agreement, and the company is valued at 30 million yuan. Li Zheng said that he would maintain his passion for learning and efforts in innovation to meet future challenges and achieve his dreams.

Our invention is inspired by the ice and bubbles in a drink, said Liu Zhenyu, a 2024 student from the Mingyue Class. The ice maker developed by his time, Qiyuanweilai, perfectly solves the demand of ice drink lovers for high-quality ice cubes without bubbles and impurities. Currently, the project has secured funding of 700,000 yuan and an investment of three million yuan.
