CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The ‘Elegance of Chongqing’ Riverside Concert was held at the outdoor square of Chongqing Grand Theatre near the brilliantly lit bridge at 20:00 on June 5, allowing audiences to enjoy the wonderful music while drinking in the unique cityscape of Chongqing in the night breeze.

This riverside concert, newly arranged by the Chongqing National Orchestra and featuring renowned Chinese music artist Fang Jinlong, started with the smooth and flowing melody of On the Fields of Hope. A series of well-known classics were performed one after another at the concert, such as The Wind Rises, The Preface of the Orchid Pavilion, and The Night Breeze Blows in My Heart, evoking the deep emotions of audiences.

National music artist Fang Jinlong meticulously prepared three classical pieces, namely Remembering Jiangnan, Song of the Fisherman, and The Book of Songs - The Xuan Bird. With his sublime performance skills and infectious expressions of emotions, Fang Jinlong led the audiences to the graceful water-town landscapes and the ancient beauties depicted in The Book of Songs.
