CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Emei Legend 46 World Fighting Championships (Chongqing), with 26 top fighters from eight countries bringing us 3 thrilling rookie matches and 11 spectacular main events, drew to a close recently.
Emeil Legend is one of China's top fighting events, and the biggest highlight of the Emei Legend 46 World Fighting Championships (Chongqing) is the ownership of the Emei Legend 70KG World Gold Belt.
In the semi-finals of the Emei Legend 70KG World Gold Belt, the best Muay Thai fighter Yodwicha defeated Matthew Stevens from Australia easily. The match between China’s Huang Yuanzhe and Belarus’ famous fighter Diznis Zuyev was thrilling. Faced with a fighter known for his toughness, Huang Yuanzhe had a satisfying performance and displayed his technical level. However, there was still a gap in strength, and he could not heavily hit Zuev. After three rounds of fierce fighting, Zuev won by points and advanced to the final.
In the final round, Zuyev maintained his aggressive attacks as usual while Yodwicha avoided fighting with Zuyev head-to-head, using a series of fight techniques such as clinches, knee attacks, and paces to hold off Zuyev’s attack.
After having a better understanding of Zuev’s fighting techniques, Yew Wichai changed his methods and strategies in the second round. When Zuev was about to launch an attack, Yew Wichai disrupted his attack by knee attacks. Although Zuev strengthened his pace and movement, the accuracy rate of his punches still did not improve; instead, Yodwicha's knee strikes were increasingly effective. After three rounds, Yodwicha finally won by points, obtaining the Emei Legend 70KG World Gold Belt. (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
