CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- "The river of time flows into the sea, and finally, we go our separate ways..." The singing of The Intersection of the Phoenix Blossoms reverberated along the banks of the Jialing River at a special graduation party was held by Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SFAI) in Jiangtan Park on June 19.

With the Jialing River as calm as a painting, and Hongyangdong brightly illuminated by colorful lights, a large light show of Chongqing Fosun International Center started for the SFAI. The school emblem and name of the SFAI, as well as encouraging graduation messages, were shown on the building screen. Nearly one hundred 2024 bachelor's degree graduates dressed in gowns took pictures with the on-screen images of their alma mater and sang together under the Qiansimen Bridge, their youth, passion, and happiness attracting the attention from all walks of life.

Many encouraging graduation messages were selected and displayed.

"My college life is coming to an end, and such a romantic 'graduation gift' is undoubtedly the perfect ending to my college life," said Wang Fuyue from the School of Film, Animation, and Television of the SFAI, adding that such an activity filled with a sense of ritual reminded her of the bits and pieces of her life at the SFAI. Though the future has more to be desired, she was wistful of her alma mater at that moment.

The graduation party was jointly organized by the SFAI and City Window, a national light show operator in China. Since late May, the SFAI has widely collected wishes and graduation blessings from the 2024 graduates to produce on-screen videos, which were then shown on the evening of June 19, lighting up the night in the mountain city. Besides, the university organized graduates to wear academic gowns to come to the site for photographing flash mob activities. Seeing their graduation wishes on the screen, they felt the blessings from their alma mater and the city.
