CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The staff members were conducting inspections at the 220-kilovolt Sigongli Substation of State Grid Chongqing Southern Power Supply Company in Sigongli, Nan'an District on June 20.

The capacity increase project, which increased the number of 240,000 kVA substations from two to three, has effectively solved the problem of load growth in Nan'an District by further optimizing the structure of the power grid of Chongqing Southern power grid and achieving the safe, reliable and stable operation of the power grid. Besides, the project has provided sufficient power for Nan'an District to cope with the load growth under high temperatures this summer, significantly improved the people's sense of gain in electricity, and injected a strong impetus into promoting high-quality regional economic development.
