CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 8th National Youth Drone Competition, the series of forums of China Aviation Science Education Conference, the 2024 China Aviation and Aerospace Science Exhibition, the 2nd China (Chongqing) Aviation and Aerospace Business, Tourism, Culture and Consumption Week, the Children’s Creative Aerospace – National Children’s Creative Exhibition, and other important activities will be staged soon, according to the press conference of the 2024 China Aviation Science Education Conference held on June 20.

The 2024 China Aviation Science Education Conference & the 8th National Youth Drone Competition will start from August 14 to August 18 in Chongqing. The 8th National Youth Drone Competition, the most anticipated event in the press conference, will show the diversity of the drone competition and create a top, highly comprehensive, and entertaining new concept by offering 23 events in five categories, including manipulation, programming, combination, virtual, and creativity. More than 15,000 contestants from over 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government as well as the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, who have emerged as the best candidates in county, municipal, and provincial competitions, will participate in the event.

In addition, the 2nd China (Chongqing) Aviation and Aerospace Business, Tourism, Culture and Consumption Week will stage carnival-themed activities, a drone light fireworks show, a cultural and creative bazaar, and a special food fair, allowing participants to experience the food culture of Sichuan and Chongqing while witnessing the charm of aerospace.

It is worth mentioning that the drone light fireworks show will be innovatively executed by the team for the Paris Olympics, involving 1,000 drones to present brilliant performances.
