CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The signing ceremony for the co-construction of the International Legal Affairs Area for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, known as the first international legal service area in Chongqing, was held in Huangjinwan Zhigu (literally Golden Bay - Smart Valley), Shapingba on June 26, with a view to building a one-stop comprehensive foreign-related legal service platform to provide all-round foreign-related legal services for enterprises in the Chongqing Free Trade Zone and other export-oriented enterprises.

With the Huangjinwan Zhigu area and the Shapingba campus of Southwest University of Political Science and Law as the core areas, the International Legal Affairs Area for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor is jointly built by the People's Government of Shapingba District, Chongqing Justice Bureau, the Chongqing Municipal Port and Logistics Office of the People's Government, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and the Chongqing Lawyers Association.

The International Legal Affairs Area for the New Western Land-sea Corridor will build a foreign-related public legal service center for the New Western Land-sea Corridor and introduce a foreign law identification site to provide customized foreign law identification services for various entities including courts, enterprises, foreign lawyers, and individuals. The foreign-related public legal service center will integrate various public legal service resources, such as foreign lawyers, foreign notarization, international arbitration, foreign-related judicial authentication, and foreign-related mediation, to establish a one-stop comprehensive foreign-related legal service platform. Additionally, the center will offer all-in-one guidance and services covering identification, order taking, order assignment, research and judgment, and feedback, delivering integrated foreign-related legal services to enterprises in the Chongqing Free Trade Zone and other export-oriented enterprises through online and offline channels.
