CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- After the fierce competition of various districts and counties, “Village BA” Championship Chongqing Division (Qijiang) Finals will be held on June 28 at Basketball Court of Wanlong Village, Shihao Town, Qijiang District.

The participating team consists of the champion teams from Qijiang, Bishan, Banan, Fuling and Kaiju which are the five elite teams that will finish the 2.5-day round-robin tournament. The champion and runner-up teams that emerge from Chongqing Finals will go to Guizhou to participate in the National Group Advancement Tournament to compete for the chance to enter the National Finals on behalf of Chongqing from July to October.

“Village BA” Championship, originated in Taijiang, Guizhou, is a nationally recognized basketball tournament IP integrating sports, culture, tourism, agriculture and finance.

“Village BA” Championship 2024 has set up 24 provincial divisions in Jilin, Chongqing, Shandong, Sichuan and Yunnan, with 5,000 teams and 100,000 participants directly involved, which has strongly promoted inter-regional resource sharing, cultural exchanges and industrial mutual assistance.
